 Linvoy was on hand today as the guest of honour to open the new Pure Ground Cafe and refurbished Milton Village Hall. The project is a partnership between Langstone Church and Portsmouth City Council providing a focal point for community life in the Milton area. The leader of the Langstone church Steve McFarlane assured the gathered crowd that the Pure Ground Cafe, staffed by church members, was committed to serving the local community and investing any profits back into support for the people of Milton
“I’m really pleased to open this exciting facility which shows what a creative partnership between the church and the local Council can achieve and how committed local Christians are to serve the community here in Milton” said Linvoy who cut the official ribbon to enthusiastic support applause.
