 A first-of-its-kind educational programme which will develop Portsmouth's future entrepreneurs and business leaders was launched by Faith & Football atPortsmouth College yesterday!
The Faith & Football Enterprise & Leadership Academy will run throughout the current academic year, and issponsored by Affinion International, based in the city. The Academy will be led by Micky Mellows and the Course Leader is Steve Rolls. The initiative brings together commercial and educational partners from across Portsmouth to give Year 10 students a unique insight into all areas of business life. The students on the Academy were selected from the group of pupils from a variety of secondary schools who have recently completed Faith & Football's Social Enterprise & Business Challenge.
Micky Mellows, the Academy Director said, "Faith & Football is committed to making a difference to people's lives and I know we will achieve that with the launch of this new academy, which will bring the world of business to life and make it real. We genuinely believe there will be history makers among our students and we're excited to be able to contribute to their development and of Portsmouth as a whole."
