In 2007 a team of people set out to trek in the wilderness of the Sinai Desert to raise funds for Faith & Football and experience the journey the Israelites took in Bible times!

At the start of the trek we were each handed a roll of toilet paper and a box of matches.  This would be as close as we got to a toilet for the next ten days!

A caravan of camels carried our belongings and met us at our base camp each evening.

We had the privilege of waking at 3am to climb Mount Sinai in the darkness and reached the top to witness the sun rise.  It was amazing to be on the mountain where Moses received the ten commandments from God!
