SOCIAL ENTERPRISE & BUSINESS CHALLENGE

The Faith & Football Social Enterprise & Business Challenge is designed for Secondary School Year 9 students to create a company made up of 4 - 6 team members to develop a business idea and turn it into a practical & real way of generating income.

Students must demonstrate enterprise skills including teamwork, communication, problem solving, risk taking, sales & marketing together with financial & economic literacy. All profits made go towards supporting the work of Faith & Football in the UK, India and Africa.

The Challenge involves over 200 students every year from Portsmouth, Aldershot and Cambridge.

Each team is provided a Faith & Football Business Mentor who runs a weekly business surgery at their school to develop their skills.

After trading for five months each team submits their business plan and story board detailing their company's journey.  They are then judged by an independent panel of business people and the winning team receive a trip of a lifetime to India to see firsthand what their profits have supported.
