We were all created to live in relationship with God.  Until we find that relationship there will always be something missing in our lives and we will never find the true meaning and purpose of life.

Being a Christian is about accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.  It will change your life and our prayer today is that you will take time to consider Jesus for yourself.  If Christianity is not true, we are wasting our time.  If it is true then it must be of vital importance to every human being.

The Bible says, "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard." (Romans 3 v 23)  We have all made mistakes, done things wrong, been selfish and lived our own life.  As a result of this we experience separation from God, and death.  But God made a way for us to be rescued and ransomed.  "For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus." (Romans 6 v 23)

God offers everyone a free gift because of His incredible, unconditional love for each one of us.  "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3 v 16)

All we have to do is accept this gift and Jesus promises us a life to the full!  "I (Jesus) came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full." (John 10 v 10)

it's not about religion but relationship!  It's not about rules and regulations, but about friendship with the Creator of the world.

If you want to become a Christian today all it takes is a simple prayer.
If you've prayed this prayer there is now a massive party in heaven with all the angels celebrating.  Once you've become a Christian it's good to do a few things:

• Make sure you tell someone the decision you have just made.  It will help confirm the decision and also it's good news to share!

• Get yourself a Bible, it's God's love letter to you and one way He chooses to communicate with you!

• Start to speak to God each day (pray).  God is always there to listen to you and guide you.

• Get yourself connected with other Christians.  This will be a great opportunity to get encouragement and support as you start this new journey with God!
