In Nigeria we have supported the work of the charity Soteria Trust at their Soteria Business School and Prospect School in Ibaden which uses education as a passport out of poverty. They assist the vulnerable and poor to be able to help themselves.
Our team trekked through the scorching heat of the Sinai desert, experienced wandering in the wilderness and climbed Mount Sinai at 3am in an effort to raise much needed funds for the continued work of the charity.
In Serbia we teamed up with Evangelist Tim Hall and worked amongst the Romany travellers. We organised daily football tournaments to engage with the young people in the community as well as Evangelistic Crusades.
Our Mexico Mission saw us working alongside the vulnerable and needy street children of Mexico City who have been abandoned by their country. We organised football tournaments, went down sewers to visit the children's 'homes', launched an Alpha Course and engaged with ex-gangsters.
Every year we send a team to Goa to work with the Little Angels Children's Home and experience a different way of living. We visit schools, old people's homes, remote villages and witness Indian life.
In Los Angeles we stayed at the Dream Center, a 24/7 Church serving addicts, gangsters, pregnant teens and the homeless. We visited some of the largest public housing projects in America providing food and kids activities.
One of our volunteers is Ugandan and has recently become a tribal chief responsible for a group of people. We have run the Peace & Unity Cup with him, engaging with Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan bringing about tribal unity.
In June 2017 a Faith & Football team headed to Israel and experienced first hand the places that Jesus stood, walked and taught! It was a great opportunity to bring the Bible to life in it's original setting!
